Andritz was awarded the delivery of a turn-key front end package to Pfleiderer MDF OOO, for their new MDF factory in Novgorod, Russia. The scope of supply comprises the complete woodyard (incl. a RotaBarkerTM), chip washing system, the pressurized refining system, which will be equipped with an S 2070M refiner, as well as the steel structure, piping, cabling, complete erection, and start-up assistance. Production capacity will be up to 1,248 t/d. Start-up is scheduled for 2009.
Anhui Huqian Investment & Industry Co. Ltd., Anhui, China selected Andritz to supply a complete fiber preparation system. This contract encompasses a woodyard, a chip washing system, and a 54/60"-1CP pressurized refining system with 672 t/d capacity.
Andritz pressurized refining systems were ordered by the following producers in China: Guang Dong (Zhanjiang) Medium Density Fibre Board Co. Ltd., Guangdong; Fengkai Weilibang Wood Industry Co. Ltd., Guangdong; ShaanXi Zhong Xing Timber Co. Ltd., Shaanxi; Yingang Hubei Wood Based Panel Co. Ltd. CNSIC and Yingang (Sichuan) Wood Based Panel Co. Ltd. CNSIC, Hunan; Xianglin New Environmental Protect Wood Co. Ltd., Hunan; Plantation Timber Products (Leshan) Ltd., Sichuan; and Baoshan Corporation (Group), also in Sichuan.
An order for a pressurized refining system for Brazil was obtained from Floraplac MDF, Pará, via Marjos, Portugal.
