Flakeboard’s South Carolina MDF plant FSC certified
The Rainforest Alliance SmartWood Program has granted Flakeboard’s Bennettsville, SC
MDF plant certification to its Forest Stewardship Council’s Chain–of-Custody (COC) and Controlled Wood (CW) standards.

“For Flakeboard, this certification highlights the important environmental benefits that our products, and our industry as a whole, bring to the management of our critical forest resources and is a validation of our present practices,” said TJ Rosengarth, VP and Chief Operating Officer. “It builds upon our existing EPP and CARB certifications and further supports the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program.”
