New Bürkle coater shines at Ligna |

Robert Bürkle GmbH sets trends at Ligna by presenting a new generation
of roller coating machine, e.a.sy-Coater RCL. Special eye-catcher: the
machines for applying liquid coating materials onto flat workpieces
were painted in Ferrari Red metallic.
Company manager Hans-Joachim Bender said, “The RCL is the result of
long-term practical experience.” Completely revised, the machine has
decisive advantages: The frame is made of cast iron and thus ensures
stability. New roller bearings, reinforced guiding columns with height
adjustment, explosion-proof driving technology, modular machine
structure and ergonomic design of the operating panel explicitly differ
the machine from the market environment, said expert visitors.
When it came to awards, Bürkle’s UV-LED curing technology won Ligna’s
first place award in the Resource Efficiency segment and the company’s
Automated Processing won second place in the Surface Finishing
Technology segment. This is the second award in a row for Bürkle. In
2007 Bürkle took first place with their Single Pass Digital Printing
line in the Surface Finishing Technology segment.
Another highlight of Bürkle’s exhibit was the digital printing line
producing samples during the fair. Visitors could see photo-realistic
printed samples with designs such as graffiti decor or a wood grain
with 3D pore.
