Secretary of State Dr. Schink was at LIGNA and paid a visit to the
stand of sanding machine specialist BÜTFERING
Schleiftechnik.
Working for the Ministry of the Environment, Dr.
Schink was particularly interested in Bütfering's new offerings in
terms of resource efficiency, said the company's press release.
Bütfering sanding machines are leading the way in energy efficiency and
have already received plenty of recognition.
Dr. Schink was
especially impressed by SORBTECH, a material developed by Bütfering
that is much less costly to produce than steel. SORBTECH features a
vibration-absorbing machine concept that has a direct influence on the
sanded surface. Bütfering also exhibited a new sanding belt blow off
concept which included a 40% saving in suction volume, and the
"ECO-Mode" efficiency program.
