Flakeboard introduces eLite MDF |

Flakeboard eLite™ MDF is a new,
unique, light weight medium density fiberboard created using a
patented, revolutionary system that puts quality and performance first,
says the product website.
This MDF panel, manufactured in
Flakeboard's Eugene, Oregon plant, is said to be high performing with
the quality of imported ultra light and domestic standard MDF products,
plus the benefits of versatility, freight, inventory savings, and
extended tool life.
According to its brochure, eLite™ MDF was developed and produced in North America to provide:
• A domestic supply source that has the quality of imported ultra light, and domestically produced standard MDF products
• A panel that is 30% lighter than standard MDF
• Freight savings, short lead-time, labor benefits and extended tool life
• A CARB Phase 1 Compliant and EPP Certified ultra light MDF panel
